Asian Express International Movers had cordially invited the American Women's Association (AWA) for a visit of the Hong Kong Container port.

On Nov 21, a beautiful, sunny Friday in November, we visited the main building of Hong Kong International Terminals with an enthusiastic group of AWA ladies and gentlemen. Our port guide Amy was greeted with many questions about the container port by our excited group. After a quick look into the control tower, we also had the chance to drive through the actual terminals which gave us a feel of the buzz inside the port and moreover, the dimensions of the machinery, container stacks and the container vessels.

Afterwards, we drove to the idyllic Beas River Country Club in Sheung Shui where we had lunch on the terrace of the Old Clubhouse and a tour of the horse stables with very close encounters with the former race horses.

On our way back home, we quizzed the group with questions about the port, its operations and life in Hong Kong. The entire group eagerly answered our questions and Lesley, Diane and Debbie won the quiz.

A very big thank you for this fantastic day with you!
Hoping to see you again soon,
Andy, Thomas and Anna
