Transfer of Residence (TOR) to the UK

The Customs Clearance process into the UK is changing.

From the 1st January 2017, all clients will need to go online to apply for a Transfer of Residence (TOR). An approval will allow the customer to import their goods into the UK with relief from import duties and charges.

The application must be made before the pack up and shipment of the goods. Once approval is granted, the client will be given a unique reference number (URN) which will need to be passed onto our office at Asian Express instead of the current C3 Form which will become obsolete at the end of March 2017.

Please visit the below link and complete the application form:

Once the form has been completed, it needs to be printed, signed and mailed/emailed to the below address with the requested enclosures (these will depend on what the client declares on the application):

HM Revenue and Customs National Clearance Hub Ralli Quays
3 Stanley Street SALFORD
