As a result of the incident last month on July 22nd 2020 at Pudong airport where a freighter aircraft caught fire whilst loading cargo, Shanghai Customs and Quarantine have ramped up security screening and physical inspections on all air shipments leaving Shanghai. This is creating delays in moving cargo through the airport due to the more extensive inspections / examinations being completed. Please ensure any clients with an air shipment from Shanghai are made aware of these delays.
