Welcome to Beijing !!

Hosted by the UTS Asia Partners and organized by UTS Asian Express in Beijing, the UTS Asia Night in Beijing managed to pleasantly surprise the UTS Partners from all over the world who attended. Many mentioned it was the most memorable experience of their entire trip in China.

Three full buses departed the Grand Hyatt Hotel at 4:00 pm on April 20th 2006. The first stop was the Red Theatre and an impressive show of Shoulin Kung Fu, which also encompassed the history of Buddhism.

The next stop being a somewhat unusual bar in Beijing (the pictures tells it all) where the wine started to the flow. Dinner then followed, set in a beautiful lakeside Chinese restaurant in the centre of Beijing. The Dinner consisted of traditional Beijing food and a total of 10 different courses and (of course) more wine ! After the closing speech by the UTS Asia Partners there were only two choices left, go back to the hotel, or carry on drinking? Most opted for the second choice !
